BE STUPID
Diesel have been known as being pretty controversial under Renzo Rosso. Especially after their famous 'For Successful Living' advertising campaign but they've also managed to maintain their core identity of their brand despite ventures into sub brands of luxury brand ware like StyleLab.
But I think the brand have taken a more bombastic (haha) approach with "Be Stupid" than some of the previous campaigns.
The only downfall I can see is that we're force fed stupidity through media outlets on a daily basis. Is there a chance the campaign will fall into the abyss of stupid tag-lines or will we understand and conform to the intended message?
Nicely eye catching from Anomaly. Who will all be fucking minted as they just picked up the Sony account from Fallon.

INGLOURIOUS BASTARDS FOR HAITI
After all the shit that went down in Haiti last year a creative team as assembled with the following artists. David Choe, Sam Flores, Estevan Oriol, Grotesk, Jeremy Fish, Patrick Martinez, Alex Pardee, Dora Drimalas, Munk One, N8 Van Dyke, Rene Alamanza, Morning Breath and Skinner Davis, to create their own poster art based off their interpretation of the Oscar Nominated film, “Inglourious Basterds” artwork.
Basically every artists included in that list is amazing. I've posted about Morning Breath and Grotesk before. Hard to pick two of my favourites but I had to go for Morning Breath and David Choe.
All the work was then sold in limited edition at $300 in a gallery in Los Angeles with all proceeds going towards aid in Haiti. Fresh.

This is Karen Caldicott's new McDonald's campaign, with some background images on the process
The campaign is by DDB Vienna for McCafé and centres around the idea of how you might feel if you don't get your morning coffee.
I Like the direction they've taken but at the same time seems a little anti McDonalds..

This is the duo’s first book; it provides good insight into their many personal and commercial art projects, as well as their collaborations with Upper Playground and FIFTY24SF.

SAN
SAN basically got me interested in real intricate muted coloured illustration.
I love that real organic shit but still maintaing the street influence.
He's one of those artists that you never appreciate fully into you see his work in the flesh, so much hidden detail. Occasionally he has work in Brighton near Toast near the station at the lil' gallery place.
